To help us achieve our aims we operate an Integrated Management System (IMS) that meets the requirements of ISO 9001 (Quality), ISO 14001 (Environmental) and ISO 45001 (Health & Safety).

We are also members of the NASC (National Access & Scaffolding Confederation) and are SSIP (Safety Schemes in Procurement) certified.

The Integrated Management System ensures that we:

• Have established company procedures and working practices that comply with the requirements and guidance from the NASC

• Ensure all our scaffolding team are CISRS (Construction Industry Scaffolders Record Scheme) trained and that their competency is regularly monitored

• Establish and maintain safe systems of work throughout our operations to ensure the prevention of work related injuries or ill health

• Review scaffold designs to ensure they comply with building regulations and client specifications

• Monitor work in progress and perform final inspection before handover to ensure adherence to customer specifications, NASC guidance and relevant regulations

• Minimise the environmental impact of our operations and prevent pollution. This includes taking into account the lifecycle of the equipment we use

• Continually improve our performance by identifying specific objectives and setting targets that are consistent with our Policy

• Regularly review our performance by a series of audits (including on-site inspections) and monitoring our objectives and targets

• Involve employees, contractors and suppliers in our systems and provide training where required

• Comply with all relevant Health & Safety and Environmental legislation including the CDM Regulations and the Building Safety Act

• Understand our client’s HSEQ policies and procedures, and follow them when on their sites

All AHL employees and contractors, regardless of their rank or position, have the right and responsibility to STOP an activity if they believe it is unsafe or fails to meet the required Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality standards.

This HSEQ Policy is communicated to all employees and is also available to the public.
